To get Ubuntu up and running is pretty simple, all you need to do is install as usual.

Wireless is automatically detected, still you might need to enable it from System » Administration » Restricted Drivers Manager.

Once up you need to install the proprietary nvidia graphic drivers, the follow this link describes how to install nvidia dirvers and setup beryl.

The only gotcha is setting up the Audio, you need to add

options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-eapd

in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base

not sure how to enable it after the change but a quick reboot did the trick for me.

The only problem i have is why did i have to pay for the WinXP Home License when i’m not using it.
