Our client is a company whose focused on assisting their clients to work more efficiently with their customers, members and prospects using products such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Joomla, WordPress, Drupal, Sharepoint, iMIS, iScore™, MYOB, and other software products that enhance the functionality of their clients CRM, CMS and Accounting systems.

They have global distribution, of products and services used around the globe in an array of businesses. Their projects have successfully been completed in the United States, New Zealand, England, Canada and Australia.

They are in search of a PHP Developer who with a chance in ongoing career development and accreditations as planned, induction, and updated each year. You will be working as part of an international team (Jakarta, Indonesia; Perth, Australia; Atlanta, USA).

This role promisses a chance to travel (predominantly to Australia), as part of their project team.

Requirements:

Minimum 3—4 years of working experience in Web Portal projects

Solid programming skills using PHP, CSS, AJAX, HTML, XML, JavaScript, jQuery

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Zend or Cake is desirable

Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 will be an advantage

Database experience: MySQL is mandatory

Web Server experience: Apache

Experience using WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal

Experience working with Web Services in a PHP environment (SOAP) desirable

Knowledge of CRM Applications will be an advantage

An ability & passion to design modern, browser-based, UI’s that facilitate customer understanding & usage

A commitment to good software quality is required

Experience in social networking APIs will be an advantage

Responsibilities

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Companies web-site with high quality content and design in line with the Corporate Identity guidelines.

Responsible for local web strategy in terms of functionality, design and communications, closely collaborating with the central Online function.

Responsible to develop the web-site into a key tool to help our Consultants retrieving relevant information to improve business performance.

Responsible for driving traffic to the site and increasing our Sales Force through online marketing initiatives, in close collaboration with Management functions in both Sales, Marketing and the central Online function.

Responsible for securing that all information on the web-site is accurate and up-to-date, in line with the Sales and Marketing strategy.

Responsible for local rollout of centrally delivered functionality.

Coordination with IT when needed.

Coordinate with the CDC team to obtain the visual and verbal communication for local design initiatives.

Improve the service to our Customers and Consultants through conducting awareness trainings.

Requirements

University degree, preferably in a commercial or technical field,

At least 2 years experience of web administration, preferably as a webmaster or web-designer,

Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills, along with self-motivation and ability to keep to deadlines,

Prior Internet marketing experience.

Practical knowledge of HTML.

Practical knowledge of one or several content management tools,

Ability to use Photoshop.

Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Experience in communicating local business needs to IT.

Good writing skills.

Fluency in English.

Good presentation skills.

Menarik nih… kenapa SMS koq cuman 160 karakter… (thinking) mengutip sebuah Blog post di LATimes, asal mula pemilihan 160 karakter adalah sebagai berikut…

Alone in a room in his home in Bonn, Germany, Friedhelm Hillebrand sat at his typewriter, tapping out random sentences and questions on a sheet of paper.

As he went along, Hillebrand counted the number of letters, numbers, punctuation marks and spaces on the page. Each blurb ran on for a line or two and nearly always clocked in under 160 characters.

Pada intinya melalui percobaan menulis beberapa pesan di mesin ketik… Hillebrand menghitung jumlah huruf, spasi dan tanda baca… dan semua pesan tersebut hampir selalu dibawah 160 karakter…

Terus terang saya jadi mikir… apa benar 160 karakter cukup untuk menulis sebuah pesan… yang jelas sering banget saya lihat sms yang penuh dengan singkatan… malah bingung kadang kalau yang bikin singkatan tidak sepaham… pernah saya dapat sms yang isinya “g bs kerjain” ini maksudnya “gue bisa kerjain” atau “nggak bisa kerjain” (doh)

Tapi namanya juga Short Messaging Service… emang harus pendek… Jadi mikir… (thinking) bisnis SMS ini gedhe banget! malah ada Client sebuah Telco Operator yang butuh seseorang Revenue Assurance Manager yang salah satu tugasnya adalah memastikan perhitungan dari Revenue SMS…
